Commonly Asked Questions
I heard Eden has a waiting list. What is this about?
The Ministry of Education has set guidelines for class size in Ontario. Once the maximum number for each class had been reached a waitlist can be generated. It is important to submit your Eden application by the deadline date as classes fill up quickly.
What transportation is available when you attend Eden?
There is no DSBN provided transportation available to Eden. Many students living in St. Catharines use St. Catharines Transit. Most parents either drive students in or organize a carpool.
Is there a mandatory dress code at Eden?
Eden High School students wear a uniform. Information about the uniform policy is available at this link.
What is the Spiritual Life Centre?
The SLC is a team of individuals that provide programming and support to all Eden students. Opportunities include daily chapel, mission trips, leadership & spiritual development and the very popular Fall Retreats.
Why is Eden an alternate school?
Eden is not a boundary school. Students from all over the Niagara Region attend Eden High School. The school culture and its connection to on-going support from the SLC make it a unique place to learn.
